Français : La ville de Meknès regorge d’un patrimoine historique inestimable. Mausolées, places, galeries, mosquées, médersas, palais, riads, musées, souks… la cité ismaélienne est riche de par l’originalité de ses bâtisses. La valeur de ce patrimoine culturel est reconnue mondialement. Ainsi, son ancienne médina a été classée depuis 1996 comme patrimoine mondial de l’Unesco. Partant de là, la cité tient à sauvegarder ses joyaux architecturaux contre l’effet du temps. Pour sauver ces vestiges, 17 monuments historiques seront donc restaurés. Cette opération nécessitera un budget prévisionnel de 73,88 millions de dirhams. Les monuments concernés sont Bab Lekhmis, Bab Bradiine, Bab Tizimi Sghira, Bab el Kezdir, Borj Bibi Aicha, Borj Chrichira, Bab Jdid, Bab Berrima, Bab et borj Beni M’hammed, Mosquée Lalla Aouda, Fondouk Zbadi, Fondouk Soltane, Fondouk Talaba, Fondouk Jdid, Fondouk Nejjarine, Medersa Filalia, Fondouk el Moulouiine.
Pour y parvenir, le ministère de l’intérieur a récemment lancé un appel d’offres dans le cadre de la convention de partenariat et de financement relative au programme de réhabilitation et de valorisation de la médina de Meknès (2019-2023) dont l’objectif sera la réalisation des études techniques et suivi des travaux de réhabilitation, de restauration et de reconstruction de ces monuments situés au sein de la médina. Dans le détail, ces travaux consisteront à restaurer, réhabiliter, consolider et même reconstruire certains monuments. Conformément à cette convention, l’Agence de développement et de la réhabilitation de la ville de Fès (ADER-Fès) est le maître d’ouvrage délégué de ce marché. |
