Allrecipes' editorial guidelines Published on February 7, 2024 Trending Videos Close this video player Here at Allrecipes, we incorporate the classic taste of Coca-Cola in many of our recipes. We use it to make one heck of a fluffy and moist chocolate cake, sticky-sweet game day wings, and even to give our pot roast a little extra sweetness. And while we tend to gravitate toward the classic cola taste, with its signature mix of vanilla and cinnamon flavors that work so well in cooking and baking, we have to admit, we get pretty darn excited when the Coca-Cola company brings out a new flavor for us to try. This week marks a big time for the company, which just announced it's launching not one but two new flavors. One is a limited edition flavor and the other is the brand's first new permanent addition in over three years. Coca-Cola Introduces New Limited Edition Flavor: Tears – Drops of Joy Coca-Cola Coca-Cola will soon release its new Tears – Drops of Joy flavor as part of its Coke Creations collection, which, according to a press release, is said to “explore the realms of the surreal, the imaginary, and the otherworldly.” The limited-edition flavor will launch on Feb. 17, which is World Kindness Day. Inspired by acts of kindness and the concept of happy tears, the flavor is said to taste like Coca-Cola but "with a splash of salty minerals, to evoke the happy tears which come with magical moments of kindness." The flavor is only available in a zero-sugar version and will be available for purchase exclusively via TikTok in the U.S. starting Feb. 17, while supplies last. Coca-Cola has been known to offer some unconventional flavors, ranging from Coca-Cola Creations Y3000, which it co-created with AI, to the Coca-Cola Coffee line that came in three different blends (dark, vanilla, and caramel) before being discontinued. Coca-Cola not only has its soon-to-come Drops of Joy flavor, but the company is also welcoming a permanent flavor to the roster. Coca-Cola Introduces New Coca-Cola Spiced Coca-Cola This month, the brand will also launch a new permanent addition to its lineup: Coca-Cola Spiced. We first reported on the flavor in the fall, when the news was shared at an industry convention. Now we have confirmation that the flavor will be called Coca-Cola Spiced and come in regular and zero-sugar versions, as well as in can, mini can, and bottle formats. This flavor, which combines the familiar Coca-Cola taste with raspberry and spice, will be available for good. And that’s kind of a big deal. Not just because it’s such an interesting flavor but because the drink company has not added a permanent flavor in more than three years (the last permanent flavor added to the Coca-Cola line-up was Orange Vanilla Coke and Orange Vanilla Coke Zero Sugar back in February 2019). Coca-Cola Spiced will start hitting shelves on Feb. 19, and will be available in retailers nationwide. Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback! Tell us why! Other Submit
