Israel ‘very quickly losing support and sympathy’ internationally amid Gaza siege, Leo Varadkar says

Only 10 countries are now siding with Israel and “they are very quickly losing support,” the Taoiseach has told the Dáil in the wake of a UN General Assembly vote calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.

“I do believe it is significant and welcome. There are nearly 200 countries in the world, with over 150 voting for a ceasefire in New York. Only ten countries are now siding with Israel,” Leo Varadkar said.
