Description
This webquest is great to use at any point during Advent. The webquest has students watch a 2 minute video on the season of Advent and answer 8 questions based on the video they watched. The information covered includes the timing of Advent, the purpose of Advent, the difference between Lent and Advent, the colors of Advent, and the Advent Wreath Tradition. The second website is a video that goes through the meaning of all the elements of the Advent Wreath including the circle, evergreen wreath, the candles, the number four, and the colors purple and rose. The final website has students read through 10 facts about Advent and decide whether the statements given are true or false based on those facts. Websites are provided using both an active link and a QR code. This can be pushed out digitally using the active link or used as a worksheet where students have access to a device that can scan a QR code (IPad or phone). An answer key is provided.
The TpT Digital Activity Platform does not support active links. A link to a copy of the Google doc of just the assignment is included with the answer key.
